Texas Architect

Winner of many awards for both graphic design and editorial excellence, Texas Architect features recently completed projects by Texas architects and other newsworthy information related to the practice of architecture in Texas. The magazine is published bimonthly and is available to the public by subscription as well as at select bookstores.

The Shape of Texas

The Shape of Texas is a radio program that was produced by the Society from 1998 to 2011. Broadcast on NPR affiliates across the state, episodes provide vivid descriptions of contemporary and historical architecture and descriptions of the places that define Texas culture and heritage. The program produced more than 500 two-minute episodes, searchable through our online archive.

The Texas Society of Architects recognizes outstanding architectural projects, individuals, and organizations through various annual awards programs. Honorees are recognized during events held at our Annual Conference and Design Expo, and in special issues of Texas Architect magazine.
