Certificates and Credit Your 2013 Texas Society of Architects Learning Unit Hours have been successfully tabulated. You can review your Continuing Education Certificate here. Please print out your certificate for your own records. This is the most important documentation of your convention attendance. Your AIA transcripts have also been updated. If you are an AIA Architect, Associate, or Emeritus member, please review your recorded hours here. Licensed Architect Fingerprinting to be Available at the 2013 Convention

The Texas Board of Architectural Examiners (TBAE) will require all Active-status registration renewals or new applications for registration to be fingerprinted, beginning with renewals or applications submitted on or after January 1, 2014. TBAE has a FAQ about the new rule here, and the Texas Society of Architect's position on this can be found in this blog article. The Texas Society of Architects 74th Annual Convention and Design Expo is less than two months away, and registrations are coming in at a record pace! We’re expecting a big crowd in Fort Worth in November, and we’ve got an unprecedented 135 continuing education (CE) sessions to keep Texas architects educated, informed, and inspired. Volunteer to Support Students During the 2013 Convention

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES   Mentor a Student If there’s one thing architectural students are hungry for, it’s mentorship — and you can help provide it! By designating yourself as a Convention Mentor, you can be paired up with a student to offer advice, experience, and information about the profession and how to navigate the convention. Students will have the option to sign up for the Mentorship Program on their registration form. The mentors and their assigned students will spend a few hours together on Friday (preferably in the Expo Hall).
