Located approximately two miles from Austin Bergstrom International Airport, the Circuit of the Americas is a multi-purpose facility that will host some of the most prestigious racing events in the world, including the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix™. Built around a state-of-the-art, 3.4-mile circuit track with capacity for 120,000 fans and an elevation change of 133 feet, the facility is designed for any and all classes of racing, from motor power to human power. It’s the first purpose-built Grand Prix Facility in the United States, and it’s sure to put Austin on the international map!

Austin’s own Miró Rivera Architects have made many substantial contributions to this groundbreaking facility, and Convention attendees will have the opportunity to follow Juan Miró, FAIA, and Miguel Rivera, AIA, as they describe the inspiration and processes behind their designs for the 60-acre Grand Plaza, the Events Plaza, the Tower Amphitheater, and the 250’ tall Observation Structure. Attendees will also have the chance to see Miró Rivera Architects’ Main Grand Stand, the ticketing buildings, the Concession / Bathroom Buildings, and the pedestrian bridges over the track itself!
