2015 Design Awards — Winners Announced
We are pleased to announce the recipients of our 2015 Design Awards. Fourteen projects were selected from among 256 entries. This year's jurors were: Karl A. Backus, AIA, of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson; Alex Krieger, FAIA, of NBBJ and Harvard University Graduate School of Design; Bruce Lindsey, AIA, of Washington University's Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts; and Jennifer Yoos, FAIA, of VJAA and University of Minnesota School of Architecture.

The American Institute of Architects has announced the newest members of the College of Fellows. Fourteen Texas architects are among the 147 nationwide to receive this prestigious honor. Only about 3,200 of AIA's total 80,000 members hold this distinction. Congratulations to the AIA Fellowship Class of 2015!

This year's jurors were: Marlon Blackwell, FAIA, of Marlon Blackwell Architect in Fayetteville, Ark.; Andrea P. Leers, FAIA, of Leers Weinzapfel Associates in Boston; Tim Love, AIA, of Utile in Boston; and Mark Reddington, FAIA, of LMN Architects in Seattle.

In April, AIA Austin announced the recipients of its 2013 Design Awards. The competition recognizes outstanding architectural projects by members and promotes public interest in architectural excellence. This year's jury included Craig Kolstad, Assoc. AIA, of Dallas; Lauren Rottet, FAIA, of Houston; and Teresa Rosano, AIA, of Tucson, Ariz.
Preservation Texas' Annual Honor Awards: Call for Nominations
Preservation Texas has announced the call for nominations for its annual Honor Awards program, which recognizes outstanding and inspiring accomplishments in historic preservation across the state. Nominations will be accepted through September 13.
TxA 2013 Design Awards Announced
The Society is pleased to announce the recipients of our 2013 Design Awards. This year's jurors included Julie Eizenberg of Koning Eizenberg in Santa Monica, Calif., Douglas Stockman of el dorado in Kansas City, Mo., and Ann Beha of Ann Beha Architects in Boston. Eleven designs were selected from among 207 entries. These projects will be featured in the September/October issue of Texas Architect magazine.

AIA Announces 2013 Fellows — 13 Texas Architects Among Those Named
The American Institute of Architects has announced the newest members of the AIA College of Fellows. Among the 122 AIA members honored with this distinction, 13 are members of the Texas Society of Architects. The 2013 Fellows will be honored at an investiture ceremony during the AIA National Convention to be held in Denver this June.
13 Receive 2012 Design Awards
Thirteen projects were selected for 2012 Texas Society of Architects Design Awards from a total of 227 entries. Winning projects will be featured in the Sept/Oct issue of Texas Architect magazine. Jurors were Angie Brooks, AIA, LEED AP, of Brooks + Scarpa, Los Angeles; Eddie Jones, AIA, of Jones Studio, Phoenix, Ariz.; and James Timberlake, FAIA, of KieranTimberlake, Philadelphia.
