Description

The development of the LEED rating system is a rigorous process, including stakeholder feedback, public feedback, and a member approval. Also included in this development process is the beta testing, where project teams test the system in real world conditions in order to help make final refinements. Join us for this session that will highlight two local projects that are participating in the LEED v4 beta process, both the HKS Corporate Headquarters (LEED-CI) and the University of North Texas Student Union Renovation (LEED-NC). We will discuss the challenges that the teams encountered, including lessons learned from the beta process and LEED in general.
