Description

Builders and architects have the unique background for creating smarter buildings, homes, and development, but too often we abdicate this responsibility to green rating consultants with their "checklist" approach. This is not how we will become the change agents we want to be in advancing sustainable building, and this is not how we will do well personally, either. This session will explore whether current green rating systems adequately assess quality, and how architects can sell thoughtful programming and articulate the value of passive solar design, and enhanced natural ventilation attributes when marketing a green home or commercial project.
