Description

An integral part of and an often overlooked component of experiencing architecture involves the building's architectural graphics: wayfinding, identity, and the brand experience. This seminar will explore and discuss the methodologies, materials, and applications of international identity and wayfinding on a number of scales: from urban applications to complex mixed-use complexes to micro-scaled applications. Whether a designer, project manager, production architect, client, or user of the space, all interact with the architectural graphics. Too often these graphics get applied after the fact and are not thoroughly integrated. In this session, we'll show examples and discuss methodologies for how to weave this important component of the user's experience into the architectural design process.
