The "drivers" of the process of designing buildings in the 21st Century have created significant shifts in the design process used by the most successful architects. What are these drivers, and how are designers adjusting to these changes? This session outlines the five new forces causing an emerging transformation in how buildings are designed, and explains the adjustments necessary in design methodology necessary to take advantage of these new opportunities. By understanding how these drivers emerged in our century and how they impact the design of buildings, architects attending this presentation will learn how to utilize the adjustments to these changes to improve the process they currently use to design buildings.
