The Trinity River Vision is a plan connecting every neighborhood in Fort Worth to the Trinity River corridor with new recreational amenities, improved infrastructure, environmental enhancements and event programming. Central to the plan is Trinity Uptown, affectionately called 'Panther Island,' which provides needed flood protection and fosters the development of an exciting, pedestrian-oriented, urban waterfront neighborhood in Fort Worth's central city. The Trinity River Vision Authority aims to attract business and entertainment to the district through programming public spaces like Panther Island Pavilion, a waterfront music venue, and a festival space home to multiple watersports directly adjacent to downtown Fort Worth.
