2019 Design Award Winners

  We are pleased to announce the winners of the Texas Society of Architects 2019 Design Awards competition. Jurors Eui-Sung Yi, Julie Eizenberg, FAIA, Carol Ross Barney, FAIA, and Chris-Annmarie Spencer, AIA, selected 28 projects from among 247 entries. The winning designs will be featured in the September/October issue of Texas Architect magazine. Texas is a state rich with diversity and contradictions. I have lived here less than one year, but the overwhelming variety of opinions, perspectives and values is more extreme than in any other place I have experienced in my 50 years, living in 8 different states, 4 different countries, and many different communities.
