As a follow-up to my recent update regarding the transition of our EVP/CEO, I am pleased to share that the search for TxA’s next EVP/CEO is now underway.

The Board has appointed an EVP/CEO Selection Committee to oversee the search:

TxA has also retained Staffing Advisors to lead the executive search. Working with the Selection Committee, they will guide the process of gathering stakeholder input, developing the position profile, recruiting and evaluating candidates, and supporting the committee through final selection.

Our goal is to make a selection of TxA’s next EVP/CEO in December, with the exact start date to be determined.

I am grateful to the Selection Committee for their leadership in this important work. We will continue to keep members informed as the search progresses while respecting the confidentiality necessary throughout the process. The next update will be announced during the TxA26 Annual Conference & Design Expo at the TxA Annual Business Meeting on October 15, 2026 in San Antonio .
